Someone (yeah, I'm talking to you, Mom) has accused me of being too negative on this blog (because of the
last post I wrote about John Belushi) so I decided it's time for me to focus on the super great side of life for a change. I am, after all, a glass half-full kind of gal.
First, things are moving along in the accreditation slow-down. European Adoption Coalition, Frank, WorldLinks, Happy Families, International Assistance Group, and Small World Adoption Foundation all have received approval of NGO status and seems like that means reaccreditation is right around the corner.

My chapter of FRUA (
FRUA NC) is having 2 picnics this fall! Yay! And I even convinced them to have one within a half-hour of my house (as opposed to the hour + that I usually have to drive). I am very excited for this picnic. Last year I was feeling shell-shocked and overwhelmed (I was feeling shy, I guess, which wasn't normal) but this year I'm going to be outgoing! I will make some friends...
Here at home we've had a very good spell of behavior from Little J. He's growing up, he's been sleeping great, and he's even hitting and calling names less. It's been really nice and I hope it lasts a long, long time...like 'til he's 88.
