Oh my friends are so funny! They think Little J is like a mini John Belushi, or rather Bluto, the character he played in
Animal House . Apparently because he's the life of the party, often runs around screaming and grunting, and if, at 4, he could be doing keg stands, he would be doing them...
This strikes fear into my heart.
It's pretty easy to imagine Little J as a frat boy if you just see him in public situations. When we walk into pre-k in the morning, everyone gravitates to my boy. "Little J's here!" they all say. When he puts his hand out and yells "No! Get away!" they just laugh. I guess they think he's doing something silly. He does silly things a lot. Pre-k parents tell me their quiet, shy (well-behaved) kids live vicariously through him. A little boy yesterday told me I should "whup" Little J more...hmmm, wonder if his daddy saw my little boy in action and offered up that sage bit of advice?

Well, daddy, I've tried whupping the boy. It doesn't work.
At parties Little J gets very worked up, especially if the adults around him encourage it.
HA HA he's stuffing food in his face again so that it falls onto the floor. HA HA.
HA HA he's guzzling juice boxes so fast it's like he's playing a drinking game HA HA
HA HA he's throwing himself on the floor and rolling around HA HA
Yeah. HA HA. He's overstimulated and stressed and these are things he does to relieve it. It ain't for your benefit, folks, but since you're laughing, guess what? He'll think it's fun and normal and ok to do those things.
Maybe that's how a Bluto is made?
How old was John Belushi when he died? 33?
HA HA.
