This write-up is from the FRUA board and is sponsored by the FRUA-DC chapter:

Winterfest is our biggest event of the year, and we finally have the plans all ready. The purpose of Winterfest is to get adoptive families together to celebrate our children, and offering some cultural exposure for the kids. For Parents-In-Progress this is a wonderful encouragement to see the children home with their families, and we would love to have you join us!

So here is the lowdown:

Saturday, February 10 from 4-7
Ukrainian National Shrine of the Holy Family in Northeast Washington DC
Catered dinner ( incuding mac and cheese which did not get onto the flyer...)
Music by Balkanto Russian folkgroup
Performance by the Lyman Ukrainian Folkdance Children's group
Children's craft area sponsored by Hillwood Museum

We do ask for preregistration so we have an accurate headcount for dinner. There is a discount for early bird registartion. All the information and the registration form is available for downloading from our chapter website: www.frua.org/dc

I really want to attend this, but I am scared to pre-register. I only want to go if we have our daughter home and I just don't know.
