So many blogs - so little time!
I don't understand how I am able to write my blog, given all else that I do, never mind all the rest of these people! But I suppose since many of them are in the waiting phase of Russian adoption it's very, very normal to spend the time doing things like blogging. Haven't I suggested finding some hobby to pass the time? And plus, if this is the bloggers' first child then they have waaaaayyyyy more time than me, with what seems like 4 loads/laundry a night and homework supervision every afternoon and dinner to cook (thank you, Pizza Hut).
So, I thought I'd check in on some blogs I'd reviewed earlier, just to see what everyone's been up to.
Jennefer, over at
Three Sons and a Princess, is still waiting for her Pineapple girl to come home. She is very much
over the waiting stage. She is in the
I-want-my-girl-to-come-home-now! stage. I dont' blame her. It's been an almost 2-year process for her. That's one long gestation.

Caroline, in her blog,
The Longest Journey is the Journey Inward has happily provided updates since bringing home a little boy 4 1/2 months ago. This was one of my favorite blogs to read. I really enjoyed the descriptions of Moscow and now I'm really enojoying the descriptions of her little boy! If you scroll down to her Sept.5th entry you can read a great description of how she does "time-ins" when her son misbehaves.
At
A Dad's Journey through International Adoption it looks like they're still waiting, although their agency, thankfully, has NGO status so hopefully things will move along soon...
If you go to
From Russia, With Love, you'll learn that Kate's I-600a has just been approved. Whenever I look at her blog I think how interesting it would be to go to Russia and work for a couple of years...
On the
Still Waiting blog they are waiting no more...they are in Russia RIGHT NOW with their two children. If you read their posts it seems like they are going to have a tough next couple of months. They have adopted two little children who really, really need a mommy and daddy!
